It all started with Gordon Chapman, the 7th generation of blacksmiths and wheelwrights, who along with his son Michael became "Gordon Chapman an Son," progressing the business over the next 25 years.
Gordon, at an advancing age, was finding it difficult to exit his driveway and came up with the idea of a turntable to make this easier for him and his wife Kath. With Michael they designed and built one, installed it and it worked perfectly. Gordon thought the idea was so good he encouraged his son Paul, a hotelier at the time, to look into the business opportunity.
Paul and Annette incorporated hiring car turntables to the exhibition industry. The company also became known as an option to solve logistical issues for architects with car turntables for residential properties.
The company shifted focus to oportunities available in other markets both in Australia and globally. Specialising in rotational movement and committing to high quality.
We are a world recognised, ISO accredited company specialising in rotational movement systems designed, engineered, and manufactured from our Bendigo factory in Central Victoria, supplying solutions for any project across any industry, anywhere in the world.
